1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how PhotoSort ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our desktop application and its associated services.

2. Google Drive API Usage

PhotoSort requests access to your Google Drive account solely to provide its core functionality. We utilize the Google Drive API specifically to:

  • Create dedicated folders within your Google Drive for your photography clients.
  • Upload locally sorted image files from your computer into these specific folders.
  • Generate publicly shareable links for the uploaded files/folders to be displayed in a client web gallery.

3. Limited Use Disclosure (Google API Services User Data Policy)

PhotoSort's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • We do NOT read, download, or modify any existing personal files or folders in your Google Drive that were not created by the PhotoSort application.
  • We do NOT share, transfer, or sell your Google Drive data to any third-party tools, AI models, or advertising platforms.

4. Data Storage and Local Processing

All photo sorting and processing occur locally on your device. Authentication tokens required to access your Google Drive are stored securely on your local machine. We do not operate external servers or databases that store your personal files or client photos.
